After two months of chasing a postal order for the full £30 landed on my doorstep this morning! Thanks Tony, well thats what I should be saying but it transpires that the postal order was from his Gran!!
My moral compass has kicked in and the £30 now belongs to the mountain rescue by way of a donation. I can only hope that Tony also has such a compass and does the right thing by granny. Hopefully Granny won’t have to stump up for the remaining two victims, monies still outstanding.
For me, this sorry saga is closed.
