    Hi all,
Fancy getting some long baggy style cycling trousers for winter (not for commuting so don’t need to be 100% waterproof). Merlin have the Altura Apex in the sale but I don’t think they are even slightly waterproof. I have some Altura Attack shorts that I rate and a mate uses the Endura Venturi’s that he rates.

Anything else I should be looking at?

    Cheers

well, i guess it’s personal choice, but IMO full length trousers blow goats for bike riding. too hot, and direct water straight on to your shoes/boots, which then are more prone to to leak. 3/4 length FTW. i use alturas.

Hadn’t considered 3/4s as I’d assume the water will just run off them, onto my calves and then into my socks? Had assumed that I’d the trousers were full length then the water would drop onto the too or side of my shoes and away?
