  • washing /reproofing your Gabba ?

    having recently invested in one of these wondrous jackets, I was wondering how folk keep them retaining their magical properties ? 🙂 Mine went in the wash last night on a 30 degree ‘sports wash’ with a non bio tab and is hanging up to dry.

    That’s all I do, non-bio liquid in the main. Sometimes use soap flakes instead if I remember. Never had to re-proof it yet after a few months

    Empty washer on a quick high heat cycle first, then 25°C in Nikwax Techwash.

    Haven’t needed to reproof yet, but will probably use the wash-in Nikwax stuff. Or maybe just then iron if that works…
