No, it’s not in the wrong forum! Admit it, you were all lined up to say it, weren’t you? 😉

I left a couple of gels in the back pocket of my jersey after a ride yesterday. One Torq Strawberry Yoghurt and one Mule Salted Caramel (YUM!). Said jersey has since been through the wash, and on being hung up on the line, said gels fell out.

So, we can safely assume that they’re waterproof and no water got in. However, as they’ve been through the wash, will I die if I eat* them?

    *Eat? Drink? Ingest? Not sure.

The stuffs probably been through pasteurisation with no I’ll effect, 30 mins at 40c (you don’t hot wash bike clothes I assume) won’t hurt it.
