Warm gloves that are not bulky or waterproof?

If you already have some long fingered gloves I'd try a silk liner glove underneath, it's surprising the difference they can make. Other than that all my warm gloves are also waterproof and a bit bulky so can't recommend anything...

I was given some north Face gloves made from Gore Windstopper years ago (before I rode). Never really used them much as the stitching started to go so them got stuffed in a drawer. I came across them a couple of months ago and thought I'd stitch them up and try them for biking as I was fed up with sweaty 'waterproof' gloves.
They are brilliant. Lovely and warm but not bulky. Breathable so very little sweat and they dry quickly. I'll not use anything else now when it's cold.Posted 1 year ago # -

+1 for layering. I use Helly Hansen gloves under boggo long finger gloves, and that is often enough to do the job. My liner gloves are actually womens XL - gives a really sung fit, esp[ecially over the fingers & thumb.

I got some Gore windstopper alpine X (or something) gloves at teh beginning of the winter. nice and thin (for good feel) and warm enough once your body has heated up enough to pump blood to your hands (but the first 15 mins of a ride in -10 is cooooold)
