    Can anyone direct me to a VW forum than can help me retrieve a radio security code after having changed the battery?

    sorry can't really help here,
    but had my car serviced 2 weeks ago and had the same thing happen,
    luckily the previous owner had written the code on the radio
    maybe pop the radio out to see if it's written anywhere

    Your local VW dealer is obligated to give it to you for free if you provide the V5.
