I was knocked off my Specialized Allez Sport last year by a kind motorist which has inevitably ended my road cycling days but on the plus side has led me back to mountain biking. However, I had already bought a cycleops turbo trainer. Now I have been able to salvage the rear wheel from the reckage of my road bike, does anyone know if this could be mounted to my bizango to use on the turbo trainer? The rear cassette is a 11-32 and the bizango is a 11-34. Rather than keep changing tyres on the bizango could I do this or what would be the best to do? Would I need to mount a 11-34 cassette to the road wheel? Thanks

Won’t the rear hub be too narrow?

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, just trying work out what the best way to do it would be without either having to pay out for new wheel etc vs changing from slick to knobbly tyre each weekend

just whack it on and see?
