brompton cemetary i actually plan to take a pic a week from this same spot for a year im up to week 3Posted 2 years ago # -
The view when I'm not so rushed and go the "scenic" route as opposed to the road...
Posted 2 years ago # -
This was a recent mtb commute

The road commute is probably more scenic though I don't have any pics.

Well not a view but I like it from earlier in the year

good old Bornmuff and Poo-all. I thought you weren't allowed to ride on the front? Moving on, pics are yesterday here's a cam of what I see

not as nice lol

Up the gravelly hill. You wouldn't believe I'm a few minutes away from the M1 at this point!
Posted 2 years ago # -
therealhoops - you can ride along the sea front most of the year, it is only in July and August at peak times of the day that we're banned!!!

It looks familiar, but I can't quite place it, somewhere west of Nottingham right? If so, you probably commute quite close to me, although I'm on the road, I don't think I could cope with Belper -> Nottingham off road every day.

Nice safe route in

Left in the canal form the night before

not as smooth as it looks

could have been a nice shot of the Malverns, if I could have been bothered to cross over.

Tea break, before I start work
Posted 2 years ago # -
It used to be the view down from the Malverns, like this

But now I've moved to Cannock, so now it's more like this

Biking to work is great...

these pics almost make me want to have a proper job.

the woodland singletrack section in spring

hoping for some more mornings like this, later in the year

This thread has made me realise i don't have any pictures of some of the best bits. Will have to sort those out later

And I work not too far from here

Hi Joe
It is just after Eastwood, near Annesley, a Google map location shows it as this point: 53.050217,-1.267784.
I wish I could commute from Long Eaton to Trowell; it would be a lot quicker...!

Not the exact view I can see but near enough

and then descend to this

View at the moment (but not my images):

Not quite as picturesque as some ^^ but I do get to take in the Sussex countryside on a daily basis. Stormy view from this summer:

And just before they starting harvesting:

I'll have to dig out some of the snow we had last winter. They're not on flickr yet...

This is the view if I go home the long way, past Chexbres....

No pictures of my current route which mainly uses the A27 and hence is boring though it is soon to change to a route through the newforest which will be so much nicer.
