Just went to my LBS and they quote prices as this and just want to no if they are fair?

£17 to shorten my new magura brake lines by a couple of cms
£20 to remove and fit new forks
£10 to sort the gears as they pop out of most of them lol

    whats your thoughts?

they seem about right to me – although they aren't tough jobs tbh. Get the bike book for £9.99 and DIY

brakes seem to be dear tho?

All of those jobs are do able at home and the brakes wont even need bleeding if your quick.

    Junior Hacksaw is 2 quid.

You tube will have online tutorials for everything. Magura site will most likely have a video of the brake line cut and indexing gears is a job you need to learn how to do.

Getting someone to do a job you can do yourself is always expensive, but then…
