    Just wondering if i need rim tape when using tubes in Ust wheels.

    If you do, can you keep the rim tape in when going tubeless or does the valve have problems sealing on top of the rim tape.

    The wheels are XT if it makes any diffeence?

    Don’t use tape, tape is only there to protect the tube from spoke holes, there aren’t any on ust rims.
