Just popped a spoke out of my front CXP33, what a bugger! Thought these were meant to be long lasting rims but it looks like the weird internal eyelets have corroded and one of ’em has failed 🙁 It’s on the winter bike so kinda understandable but they’re not even a year old yet. Very meh.

    Anyone else had this?

Mine were second hand when I bought them in early 2011 and they have done about 20,000 miles mostly on gravel. Still spot on with no care what so ever apart from too frequent washing with some very potent chemical cleaner. Disc braked so that might make a difference but doubt it.

Fark! That’s what I wanted when I bought ’em, a nice dependable long lasting rim. Disc brakes too, disc side spoke FWIW. Not sure how many miles they’ve done but it ain’t many.
