    x-ray department. we get cards/letters every week saying thank you and complimenting the staff. I don’t even deal with patients, but it’s still a nice warm feeling to get the notes.

    I got a xmas card from a client thanking me for my efforts and praising me ‘for helping him to grow his business’

    I have to say it meant more than pretty much any other ‘attaboy’ i’ve ever got.

    Got a lovely one in the summer from one of the charity organisers – unfortunately I wasn’t well enough to be there on the next event they had 🙁

    Very rarely get any thanks from customer-facing teams, but i do every once in a while. It does not make up for the other occasions.
