As above really, I’ve heard varying reports on the fit of Shimano shoes and just wanted to get an idea of how the size. Cheers.

The problem(?) with Shimano’s is their width. They tend to be narrow in comparison to other manufacturers. I’d be inclined to go up half a size at least. So… 46?

46 for their shoes, 47 for boots

45 in most shoes including trainers and spesh bike shoes regardless of sock choice, for shimano I fit 45 with thin summer cycling socks, but more like 46 with anything wooly or sealskinzy. [edit] never tried their wintery boots, mind.

Another one who wears UK 10 in everything, but a 45 in Shimao shoes. Even then I don’t wear thick socks with them cos despite my narrow feet, shimano shoes really aren’t the most generous fitting!

Usually a 10 in a shoe. Just replaced a pair of Shimano size 46 that I thought fitted me OK with a pair of Shimano M087s, 46 wide, which fit my buniony feet even better. Still enough room in them to accommodate the thin socks + Sealskinz combo I’ll be wearing in the winter when it’s freezing.

Size 10 Nike trainers fit me perfect.
Normally get 45 in Shimano or Specialized shoes.

I take UK size 9.5 or 10, and take Shimano size 45.

    10 in all regular shoes/trainers
45 MO77 just purchased, feel ok with thin socks, might be a bit tight with sealskinz but will loosen off the velcro…

I’m a 9 but all my Shimano shoes have been 45 (MTB / road / winter boots).

UK size 10, 47 in Shimanos. Used to use 46, but found them too tight with thick socks in the winter.
