I was driving to work I did think Barafundle bay. Great location and the walk keeps the crowds reasonable…

Luskentyre on Harris must be the best beach in Britain. Thick with golden, clean, unspoiled sand.

Camusdarach beach (where they filmed Local Hero) is not far behind, as is the whole coast there from Arisaig to Morar. Sheer stunning majestic… really hard to describe how beautiful it is without breaking down and weeping….
