So I have just been watching this video.

I was hoping someone could explain the finer points of the rules to me.

Two minutes to get through the marked ‘section’ without ‘dabbing” (putting a foot down). One dab = 1 point. Person with fewest points over a number of sections wins. Max 5 points per section. If you get 5 dabs, you have to leave the section. 2 feet down at once, or a hand down = automatic 5.

In that video, the first 3 mins is just messing about, not part of the comp itself.

Does that help? Obviously there are quite a lot of other finer points but those are the basics.

Realised that first part was warming up or whatever.

I was trying to work out what the deal was with time and if it was against the clock or what. I assumed there must have been a difference between one foot and 2 because of the way they were often very deliberate in leaving one foot on but it’s better knowing exactly what the craic is.

    Thanks a lot. 🙂
