I like my Spesh The Captain tyres, but I'd like something a bit wider on the front,

Was going to get a Captain 2.2 but they aren't much wider – any recommendations ?

I've got the 2.2 Purgatory up front, seems a good match, found the captains a bit sketchy up front. But if the weather stays like this, I imagine the 2.2 Capt would be great up front.

I'd run an eskar on the front in a 2.3.

Yup, I run 2.3 Eskar front, 2.2 Captain rear, good combo.
