I have over 5K of bikes sat in my kitchen, so why do i baulk at paying £50+ for a set of tyres for these expensive bikes?

On my playbike i’m currently using a cheap, wire beaded Continental Gravity/Vertical combo because i can’t bring myself to shell out for some ‘decent’ tyres.

Am i alone in this?

I’m a wee bit similar tbh, espcially as my last pair of tyres lasted such a very short time, and weren’t cheap.

I’ve used expensive ones but my favourites are all cheap… Ideal really!

I still lean towards Conti Verts but folding ones are hard to find now. Had a set of MK’s butthey wore down very fast & scared me rigid at Whinlatter in the rain – although to be fair, i doubt any tyre works on slick, wet slate!
