long story short, the place I work has a need to fit a 20" wheeled kids bike to a tubro trainer. We're not training the kids as such, we just need to be able to allow them to pedal without going anywhere. As it's a local authority, we can't just mackle something up due to the whole liability issue. So, the question is, does anyone make a turbo trainer or similar that would fit a 20-24" wheeled bikes with nutted axles?

    Cheers.

lots of turbo trainers have sprung mounted fly wheels that I would have thought would manage with a 20 inch wheel. I am guessing but would have thought they did.

    hmmmm,

maybe easier to get a ladies style bike and drop the saddle right the way down, none of the ones i've used would have taken a 20" wheel.

Maybe if the stays were long enough to take a 650c (mtb with a slick) wheel? Might mean grinding out any bridges though, so only usefull as a permenant solution.

Redline bicycles make a 20/24" turbo trainer designed to work with bmx bikes.
