I’ve got an old frame and various spare bits and I’ve decided I fancy cobbling together a (permanently fixed) Turbo trained bike obviously there’s no need for brakes, multiple chain rings and various other bits, I’m just umming and arring over how to set it up to achieve a good position and thinking over what bits I will want on there…
I’m presently thinking about a quill stem to give me easier height adjustment, Flat bars with Bar ends (possibly use a bar end shifter) to give me a few positions, I can’t imagine I’d want to use Drops on it….
Anyone else lashed together a Turbo Junker?
The other thing is Boredom aversion, anyone got a TV/PC/book stand/console etc set up in for theirs?
Any suggestions and/or inspirational pictures?
