Tried to convert a new rear MK Protection 2.2 3 months ago and ended up loosing my rag with a violent explosive attack on my poor old track pump (now fixed). (Stans Std strips on a DT Swiss 5.1.D previously fitted with same tyre tubeless).

Tried again Sunday, admitedly not in a rush this time, inflated on soap suds first time then again with teh sealant. Sl leak at valve but now sorted and took soo little effort.

My thinking is the new tyre was stiff an "waxy" and after running it with a tube with a few pinch flats it has worn in the tyre softening it and therefore easier to sort. Aslo I did have more time to fit it as well but ilast time it took ages to get a rim seal even 🙂
