Does it work? Will it make my wheels feel like they’re made of lead?

I’m doing a lot more commuting on my bike now (38-60miles a day) and have had two punctures in as many weeks, one of which meant I was late for outpatient clinic today. I don’t really want to change my tyres either.

Any suggestions of something that works?

Yeah. A pair of those will cost me 50 quid. I was thinking more along the lines of 3 quid for a bottle of goo.

I don’t think sealant will work very well at road pressures.

Joe’s do a sealant for road tyres – but I’ve never used it.

I tried some Stan’s fluid in a tube on a road bike. Despite the relatively wide (32 mm) tyres, there wasn’t anywhere near enough air in for it to seal before going completely (pinch) flat and I had to change tubes.

Why not just ‘ghetto’ tubeless them?
