    Afternoon all.

    As I have quite some ‘form’ on being quite destructive to bottom brackets (I’m fat and clumsy, rather than skilled, rufty tufty and demanding) I thought I’d go for something a bit chunkier (a bit like me).

    Is anyone running a Howitzer Bottom bracket? Any good? Are there any difference between them as there seems to be a few available.

    I’ve already ordered a big meaty set of of Truvativ Holzfeller cranks. I Just need a BB that stands a chance of lasting the winter. Ggggrrrrrr

    They are very beefy, and seem to last well. I have one n my SS.
    I ended ordering from Jenson USA, as they were a lot cheaper (think I saved about £15). I went for the Team.
