  • Tread pitch & diameter of a pedal?

    I've been trying to establish what size helicoil I need in order to re-thread my XTR (r) crank arm, but thus far, no joy.
    Can anyone enlighten me?
    I can't find the info on the Shimano web site either.

    Diameter is 9/16" I believe.

    Yes, I've got 9/16th and a pitch of 20.
    The only place I can find who might do something along these lines is ceeway.com, & I've duly emailed them.

    Thread Sizes

    * Most pedals have 9/16" x 20 tpi threads.
