    Hi

Myself and a couple of friends are riding the C2C for charity in April and would like know if anyone has any advice or tips from experience? We are taking three days to complete the route. One question I have is chamois cream?? Is it really needed or just for kinky folk?

    Cheers

My advice is do a different C2C, though I haven’t done all the TPT, I’ve done most of it, there are loads of minging areas it travels through, and broken glass is a trail feature.

Is it the Transpennine trail from Southport to Hull, if so it does go through some bad bits between southport and manchester, and numerous steps at widnes, with barriers that hinder tandems. And very muddy from formby to aintree, and a diversion due to flooding outside southport.
