    I have a road bike that I intend to use as a donor bike for a new disc cross frame and fork that I’m gonna buy.

    I have a disc wheelset but need to know as the road bike has cantis will I be able to use the existing STIs and just buy something like BB7 calipers and rotors?

    Yes. You will need to buy the Road version of the calipers though, not the Mtn version

    As a sneaky aside, if you need brakes, I was planning on putting a set of BR-R517s up for sale at some point. Would be asking £50.
