I had some made for the trails at a local park. Nearby sign shop did them for us. They’re some sort of plastic printed in color and stuck to aluminum. They do some of the local street signs, too.

With the stuff that they have today, they can do any size, color, shape that you can imagine. The design/layout is a big part of the cost, so the price drops quickly for large numbers of the same or similar signs.

Most important – get a proof, and check their spelling! They almost spelled the park name wrong…

Try a local signage company, you might be able to get a reasonable discount if you have their logo/name on (sponsorship wise)

I’d guess printed alloy would be better than plastic

    The classic ones are these:

Suspect you could get them a lot cheaper though

We supply a trail building company, they have the treated posts routed out then fix one of our signs in the recess. We use the same method as mentioned above, aluminium composite or reverse print onto polycarbonate.

Tamper proof screws are worth using in some areas.
