    got four of the above and rarely use them so how should I keep them at their best? occasional full charge even if not used? or is this not the best way.

    That looks way too flimsy – I bury mine in a lead lined casket under at least 10′ of sand and 9″ of reinforced concrete shell

    Nah, that’s only necessary when charging, in case they explode…
