Is there any carrier that doesn’t use the main towball and still allows a caravan to be towed ?

Asking for a friend. I think the bike will be squashed between car and caravan.

think that even though not directly on the towball the weight of the rack plus the bike(s) will add to the nose loading – depends what they are towing with / towbar spec

So he’s towing a large trailer and is not sure where to put his bikes?

The high wheel thing looks like a low of weight on the towbar.

My towbar carrier has a metal plate that is sandwiched between the ball bit and the chassis bit.

You just need longer bolts to put it on but once on, it stays there.

A pole goes into the plate thing and the bikes hang from it.

I don’t use it any more so you can have it for £20 if you can collect. 3 bikes fit. It’s a Witter one.

Just mount some roof bars to the trailer and do it that way. I’ve seen loads like that. 🙂
