    Need to be in les mans in june.

    She suggested we cross channel and ride.

    I am taking this as officially the plan.

    So…

    How the chuff does one find out good cycling routes through northern france?!

    france is predominantly very rural. ploy a route from A to B using the smallest roads possible. and it will be very scenic, through great villages, with ace little cafe’s and bars.

    Michelin road maps (yellow, Local, 1:150k) denote “Parcours pittoresque” with a green band along the road. Linking up off-road (voie verte) routes with “pittoresque” minor roads is a successful approach.

    Spend some time on RWGPS and look at Streetview to determine what the roads are like.
