I use torrent files a lot. Mainly for older stuff. For example today I have downloaded two eighties classics. Willow and Innerspace. Both available on ebay. If I were to purchase either of the titles from said auction site would this benefit the makers/actors any more.
Now is this exceptable.? Both of the films have been out donkeys and have made there money. In fact I think I have owned both titles at some point on VHS. Failing that I know I went to the cinema and rented them.

I can understand the argument with the new films and music ect…but what about the old stuff.?

It's not about being acceptable. It's about being illegal. And being able to spell.
