The speed thing is an issue too. Proper cities with grown ups running them make the speed changes and it works. More people cycle, less traffic, less deaths, etc etc. You only have to watch Parliment on TV where they jeer and shout like drunk chimps while they’re making decisions that have a massive impact on people’s lives to understand that all the government in this country are incompetant cretins.
