    …… a boardman mountain bike that had just been serviced by Halfords with the forks on backwards!!

    I stopped along side the poor chap, pointed it out and sorted it out for him. He was most grateful and said he was going back tomorrow to complain.

    Zoikes, just as well they were rockshox and the caliper was on the front

    The OHs friend was moving to NZ and just gave us her son’s bike to find a home for it. It was a Halfords XC26. He’d had the bike for about a year and had been riding it all that time with the forks on the wrong way round!
