It’s free because for every kWh of heat generated from it they’ll get 12.2p. According to Ofgem average gas usage is 16,500kWh per year so that’ll be £2013 per year or £14,091 over the 7 years it’s available.

Looks like another wonderful Govt scheme to take money from taxpayers and give it away…
