    Just got myself a second hand Ti seat post but lots of scratches showing above the seat collar any tips on tidying up

    Depends on the original finish.

    Shot penned – no chance, unless you get it done again.

    Brushed – scotchbrite/pan-scrub

    Polished – Brasso

    Just use some fine wet and dry (get a multipack from 100-1600 or so grit) some beers and TV… you can follow that with some car scratch restorer if you want it shining… but the start course and work down should work and carborundum is harder than Ti.
