  • Threaded fork run with an Aheadset?

Say you had a threaded fork with a suitably long steerer and a nice short headtube/headset stack, did the sums and it all seemed like it would fit, would it “Crazy” to run it using an aheadset and clamp on stem?

    Anyone done it?

where would the threaded section of the steerer be? Will it protrude out the top and therefore be cut off? If so, No worries. If it falls under the stem, I'd be concerned about the reduced contact area or the threads cutting into the stem material.
