i've done multi-day off road tours, staying at hostels, with my 24 litre opsrey statos, but i'm all set with kit now to go off bivvying. once you add bag plus mat plus bivvy bag, i start to struggle for space.
i was thinking about getting some of the bulk off my back but without adding too much weight to the bike. i'd like to hang the sleeping bag and ultralight thermarest off the saddle – any suggestions? it's full suss, so no rack, and i don't like the idea of anything seatpost mounted.
