I think you’ll find The Royal Mint aren’t offering £50 at all.

I’m not in marketing, but I’m not sure that announcing you’re recalling something because you’ve royally cocked it up, is necessarily the best way to promote it.

A few are on Ebay at bin £1000 but that doesnt mean they are going to get that much.
The £50 is a company called the London Mint that will buy them for that knowing full well they are worth more. £200 seems to be a pretty standard ebay price at the moment.

Why does it now appear that every 20p is worth money?

People seem to be getting around £5 for a standard 20p!! with no date on the Queens head side, which from looking through all the 20p’s i have, is how they are made, as they have a date on the other side.
Does this mean i’ve got around £100 of 20p’s???
