Just picked it up from my LBS and will shortly be taking it out for it’s maiden ride. It’s an early 40th birthday present from Mrs MM and family. 😀

I was originally getting a Cube cross race pro but they are not available until the end of November so I went for a Giant TCX 1 instead.

Just got back from a 10 mile blast along bridal ways and cheeky trails.

Was a bit cautious at first as I found the steering a lot faster than I’d expected but after about 10 minutes I was flying along and I was surprised at how comfy it was! Needs some tweaking to get the set up correct ready for my first race tomorrow, but I can’t wait now.

To sum it up? ABSOLUTELY FLINKING AWESOME!! 😀 😀 😀

Damn you. Just been on a road ride, and a bunch of the road guys have got cross bikes for the winter, and I’ve offered to show them round a few mtb routes that are ‘crossable, if they promise not to rip my legs off. It’s got me really wanting a cross bike, then I come and see this.
