    Looks interesting!

    Price?

Sensible price though for 10 speed that goes to 40 or 42 would only be from the big names as they can afford the mass production, but they’re not going to make them while they’re trying to sell 11 speed.

Interesting though. Anything around the price of an XT cassette would be fine. Anything £100 / 200+, forget it.

I think leonardo (or somebody else) was doing a 10-42t too.

More interesting is the spacing on the rings – looks like 6/7 very closely spaced rings with 4 wide ones. I wonder if thats a good idea or not…. interesting.

11 speed Alfine has a wider range and a single chainline.

And weighs a ton and is less efficient.

…when chain is clean and not dragging through muck. 🙂

What it manages to lose half its mass in the wet?! Impressive 😉

    Interesting point. 🙂

Had to think about that and after much analysis and study came to the conclusion that this is a relativity problem.

Here is a scientific fact I have just made up*.

As T (Track surface) approaches max C (Clagginess Index), Ma (mass of Alfine) remains constant, and Md (mass of derailleur system) approaches ?, and Ra (Rotation speed of Alfine) remains variable while Rd (rotational speed of derailleur system) approaches 0.

*(It just need someone who knows how to write with those mathematicky symbol thingies in this wee box).
