Stay out of the Triangle or Cornmarket; the fancy street food places are expensive and not that great, especially Mowgli.

Try blunderbus, amazing veggie Indian on the outskirts of the northern quarter.

Stay out of the Triangle or Cornmarket; the fancy street food places are expensive and not that great, especially Mowgli. Weird. I went there again last night and it was still one of the best vegan curry selections I’ve had. Pretty reasonably priced too. Triangle/Corn Exchange is still a bit of a trafford centre experience though.

Marble Brewery on Thomas St, and Port St Beer House, both in the Northern Quarter for drinking.

Mr Coopers is great for a posh dinner, or Pieminister on Church St for post beer re-fuelling.
