Yeah I’ve got blackspire,on one, superstar all just as good, although race face one was lighter, it definitely wore out quicker,

    “I have a dream… Where all thick thin chainrings are equal…” 😀

They do vary with each brand, for example Wolftooth make a stainless thick thin chainring which is twice as heavy put last 5 times as long as an Alu one if believe the marketing dept.

On my bikes the Superstar one is more prone to creaking than the Works one – maybe different tolerances on the bolt holes?

Renthal have really long teeth which I find works well.

Look for ones that have been hard anodised, they usually last longer, only downside is they only come in black or that weird Goldy colour.
