anyone tried one of these cheap helmet cams? reasonable results?
i’m thinking it’s a bit risky strapping £200 to my helmet, knowing how i ride! anyone who knows me will probably agree 🙄

amazon have ‘sports’ helmet cams ranging from £20 to £250. some of the reviews seem to think that the cheaper models aren’t as bad as you might expect.

    any experience?

Just (today) used a veho Muvi for the first time. Results not very good so far.

Mainly due to positioning of lens as you can not see where the camera is pointing. I guess this is the same for the more expensive cameras as well ?

The video was also very “jerky”. I am a total novice at making MTB movies, and it takes a bit of time to do it.

I think if you were serious about getting a decent result, you may as well look at spending a bit more money on the camera. That’s what I will be doing.
