    I lived in Somerset as a teenager and I often heard this group on the radio or saw them on television.

    I think this is my favourite song of theirs (I don’t like cider though, particularly the rough scrumpy you could pick up in Somerset :lol:)

    It would appear that they are still doing the rounds rkk01 singing their merry way around the country 😆

    People used to laugh at The Wurzels, but I think that they are having the last laugh by singing some daft West Country songs and getting paid for it 😉

    my favourite song of theirs is “there’s a spider in the bathtub” but couldn’t find that on youtube i like this also though 😉 [video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL27Sezboto[/video] used to listen to a compilation tape of their greatest hits when i was a toddler. along with the best of boney m and country and western compilation tapes (my grandmother loved c & w 🙂

    i went to a gig somewhere in bristol many years ago, the fly posters said ‘bring a welly and get in free’!!! guess what there were a lot of wellies in the queue and in the venue!
