Sadly, not here, in Portland, but who knows, I’m sure we could do a similar project in London (or Manchester), to replace the crappy Boris Bike with something better. No ?

The Bike Design Project is an independent innovation platform for the urban utility bike. Some buzz word bingo in the blurb but also some pretty neat, efficient ideas integrated into the bike…

I’m not a big fan of “Concept” designs something like this where something genuinely practical and useful has been made is actually quite good…

I’d certainly be interested to know how effective those “Minimalist fenders” are…
