It was surprisingly warm out there t’day and dry so i made the most of not not having frozen fingers and spent 4 hrs riding up/down and around my trails setting up my ideal suspension settings regarding air pressure/rebound/high speed compression dampening , well worth it as i can now cope with the bomb holes, roots, drop offs and techy climbs without feeling like i’m asking too much of the suspension – Toby (dog) loved it as well as he got quality digging time to really focus on excavating the biggest holes he could as i rode up n’ down the same sections over n’ over till i was satisfied.
Toby relaxing after a hard days work on the hill, with a belly full of chicken, rice and carrots – i don’t think he’ll be moving too far from that seat t’night 😀
Still lovin it Kenny.
AWSUMZ. 😀
We’ll be over in Inners for a week in April if you fancy coming across to meet us?
There’ll be plenty of room for you to stay for a few days.
Yep….still loving it 😀 , but i’m well aware that my bike could get me into trouble far quicker than my current skill level/upper body fitness could get me out of so i’m taking it very canny at the moment – no time for heroics as it’d be rather annoying to stack it and have to lay off the bike now that i’m getting back into it. I’m up at Aviemore for a week at the end of April – when are you at Inners? – I’ll be up for heading over if i’m not away.
ton : how’d you take that pic?, it looks like you would need to dislocate a shoulder to get that angle.
No pics but I can confirm that QECP is the muddyest I’ve ever known it! If it wasn’t for the new Blue route with a hard surface down (thank you QECP trail collective) I reckon I’d have hit 6mph max all day.
A day in which I had to return home to dig out my summer clothes.
15 big fat degrees darn sarf. Like the first good day of summer.
The last downhill before home,
Strictly speaking not this weekend. And strictly speaking not a picture either, but given the posts re Llandegla, the video below is me, my mate Ron (with chest mounted GoPro) and my trailhound Bonnie, trying not to fall off on the B-Line at Llandegla a couple of weeks ago…
2nd ride the on the Renegade today, bloody love it! Its quick and comfy! #renegaderides by Dan and Claire Lees, on Flickr
68km of (some exceptionally) dirty lanes on the Renegade.
Trails around here are bogging so sticking with tarmac/gravel for a bit.
