We’re off to afan soon. does anyone know if there is a shortcut that takes you from the bottom of the zigzags back upto the top without having to do all of the Wall again?

Turn left as you come out of the bottom of zigzags, back along the fire road. Turn first left up another fire road. This should come out at a T junction. Turn left again up a very steep fire road. This brings you out at the Lodge. You can ride up from there to the right of the 4x track to get back up to the top of graveyard where the picnic bench is.

Yep, but it’s going to be a real mudfest at the moment, and mostly unrideable as they’ve been doing work up that way recently.

If you go along the wall climb, on the fireroad, just after the exit for the Zig Zags you’ll see a doubletrack that goes up to the left, if you follow this to the top it’ll bring you out at the end of graveyard.

That or…. you could follow the fireroad for the Wall Climb all the way up and it’ll eventually bring you out by Graveyard then 373 – but it’s a long slog.
