Anybody else remember them from the late 70s and early 80s?

I must dig mine out of the loft.

I think that i've got Great Space Battles and Starliners still. The others were lost in the space time continuum that was Castlebrook High School.

Had the Spacecraft 2000-2100AD jobbie, but didn't really like those books very much.

For those of us of a certain age the Trigan Empire in Look and Learn ruled.

Loft search update – Starliners found (hardback, good condition). Space Battles can't be far away.

Starliners and Great space battles here too.

Just had them out recently for my 3 year old boy to look at during his vaccinations.

He was fascinated with the artwork.

The guys who illustrated these books (Peter Elson, Jim Burns, Alan Daniels & others) did the cover illustrations for some of the best sci-fi books out there – Asimov foundation series, Peter F Hamilton – Nights dawn trilogy etc Also their work went on to inspire artists such as Chris Foss. Legendary stuff. Loved them when I was a kid and still do now.
