Meh. Poor man’s First Aid Kit.

Difficult to do the comparison on-line as the only First Aid kit videos I could find were the official release versions which are extremely polished. The live Staves videos don’t appear to be so polished but live in person would be the test.

All I know is the Staves look like they still enjoy it. Seeing them play in Oct/Manchester (booked!)..by Oct they will be thoroughly bored of touring I bet

Saw both First Aid Kit and The Staves live back in spring. Both gigs were very tight musically, both were equally great IMO. Going to see The Staves again in autumn.

Saw them at Sage 2. Really good and by no means a poor man’s First Aid Kit (who are also excellent). Of course their musical ability may not be the only reason why Justin Vernon has been working with them…..

They were pretty good at Glastonbury in 2013. I beloved they’re playing 3 sets this year.

I love Stealing Sheep, me. Similarly folk-y yet inventive/unique in ways that appeal to this old jade.
