Right. I currently own a 29er camber. Fancied abit of a change so I ordered a new stumpjumper comp 650b. But just can’t get away from the feeling I’m not going to like it, or it won’t be right. I mainly rode the wyre forest, which for those of you who don’t know it is all natural single track with around 4miles of road from. Y house to forest and back each ride. I’d like to go faster and ride steeper more technically challenging trailstrails. Basically, it’s gotta be pay monthly and no more then 2.5k.what have I missed?

What have you missed? A test ride perhaps? It’s not always possible to get them, but it doesn’t even sound like you’ve tried… That’s not to suggest the stumpy’s gunna be awful, but there a lots of great bike choices out there you could have chosen from & seemingly have ignored (unless you have, but haven’t mentioned it). I was under the impression that the YT Capra for instance was the bike to go for, in the 650b size, to go ‘Enduro’
    Not helping am I? Sorry
