It hasn’t rained in Berkshire for at least 6 weeks now. Swinley was too dry this weekend – I crashed in deep dust at the top of the Axel run. I have been going to the allotment every day and watering with 2 watering cans EVERY night when the kids are asleep.

I bought a hosepipe at lunchtime today to water the allotment.

30 minutes later the skies opened… and it’s still raining.

Onion…. have I missed something?

I got caught out in while walking the dog. Was so nice after the dust and heat of yesterday.. we had to hide under a tree when it really came down and the wimpy dog lie down with her nose between her paws like she was trying to hide!
